What You Will Need
You'll want to build your system around a high definition disc player that connects directly to a High Definition TV. Standard definition TVs won't allow you to experience the true benefit of Hi Def.

Plan how you'll arrange the room and where the crowd that comes to experience Hi Def will sit. Being too close or too far away, or viewing from an awkward angle, can diminish the experience. Retailers can give you guidelines on optimal viewing distances.

Once you have the picture issues cleared up, spend time finding the best audio system for your home theater. Again, space considerations come into play. High definition discs are capable of delivering 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 channel digital surround sound. That means you can hook up 5, 6 or 7 speakers and a sub-woofer. A great surround sound system is an integral part of experiencing next gen media.
Web-Enabled Features
Some HD DVD titles include web-enabled features that allow you to access additional content from the internet using your HD DVD player’s internet port. To enjoy the web-enabled features on a disc, please make sure that your player’s internet connection is properly set up by referring to your player’s owner’s manual.

If you are still having trouble accessing the web-enabled features we recommend you contact the manufacturer of the player you are using:
